ABOUT US

My name is Alyssa Schienbein. I am passionate about working with people who have exceptionalities and in the area of child development. Exceptionalities is another word for specials needs and encompasses cognitive and physical needs. From anxiety to Down’s syndrome to cerebral palsy to trauma, I am versed and continually learning. It is my goal to help you and your child by providing fun, engaging, and educational activities that help target lagging skills. I will create an inclusive and welcoming environment and strive to provide top quality education to all children in my programs. As an educator I specialize in creating unique learning opportunities to enhance important skills like literacy, numeracy and motor skills and movement. In addition to working as an elementary school teacher, I have spent the last 9 years working with many people with exceptionalities ranging from ages 2 to 97.  As a Care Aide and Respite Worker, I’ve been able to connect on a personal and professional level always gaining increased admiration and understanding with each new person I work with.

I have an amazing, highly trained, caring staff that help me to provide my services and reach our goal of providing high qulaity, compassionate, and fun care.
